About Us

Our Philosophy is simple . . .

  • We believe in the educational philosophy of respect for the individual child which inlcudes his or her ability to grow and develop inner controls, to think and play creatively, and to discover strengths.

  • We believe in an individualized child-centered program.

  • We believe that the most significant years of a child's learning life are between birth and six years of age. A stimulating and active environment during these years can greatly contribute to the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of the child.

The success of our school relies on parent and family participation in the following ways . . .

  • Participate in the classroom as a teacher's assistant on a rotating basis with other parents to be a part of the educational process.

  • Hold a board position or committee position within the school which gives parents a voice in their child’s education.

  • Attend Parent Education events and meetings because they offer tools and an opportunity to learn and grow as a parent.

  • Participate in fund-raising activities which are vital to our school's continued success.
