What is expected of me as a parent?

Cooperative preschool means that parents are involved with their child's preschool education.  Parents are required to work in the classroom along side our teachers a few times per month and hold a committee position throughout the year.  In addition, parents are required to earn parent education credits through involvement with school activities, fundraising events and educational opportunities through Bates Technical College.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Children are not required to be potty trained to attend Mt. View Cooperative Preschool.

What does my tuition cover?

Mt. View Cooperative preschool is a non-profit 501 (c) 3.  Your tuition goes towards our teacher's salary, classroom supplies, facilities, equipment, snack and other operational expenses.  In an effort to keep our tuition affordable, we also fundraise throughout the year.

When is tuition due?

September and May tuition (prepaid) plus 1/2 Bates Fees are due on or before Orientation, which usually falls in the 1st or 2nd week in September.  October - April tuition is due on the 1st day of the month.  A $10 late fee is assessed if tuition is not received by the 10th day of the month.  An additional $10 late fee is assessed if tuition is not received by the 20th day of the month.
